Had a lovely stay with a generous full English breakfast and good hot shower. The cozy garden area was perfect for unwinding after a long day. I noticed a bit of street noise at night, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 🌼

i had a fab stay at barnfield b&b! the owners were super friendly n welcoming, making me feel right at home. breakfast was amazin, had tons of choices, and it was cooked to perfection! i loved the comfy twin room with a great shower. there were even extra tea n milk in the room, which was a nice touch!
the shower could use a lil upgrade but it was fine. also, there was a bit of road noise from outside that might bother some people.

The shower could use a little updating, but it still got the job done. I had a bit of trouble filling the kettle under the bathroom tap. it only fits about a third full. The property is a short walk from the center, which might not bother seasoned walkers, though it’s worth noting for others. Plenty of parking available, which is useful for those traveling by car.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed a peaceful night in the twin room. The ambiance felt like home, and it was a delight to discover local cafes nearby for breakfast. Just a quick note, an updated shower would enhance comfort, but otherwise, the stay was just perfect for solo travelers. I highly recommend it!

Great stay with an awesome breakfast!
Quick and easy to find, with a warm welcome from Joan. The room was pretty spacious and comfy bed. The shower worked perfectly, and I had no issues with hot water. Joan pointed me to a nearby pub, The Goat, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was spot on, but the WiFi was a bit slow at times.

will certainly stay here again
I had a cozy twin room with a super comfy bed and a powerful shower. The room was packed with great amenities like a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and free toiletries. Joan and her husband were so welcoming. The full English breakfast was perfectly cooked. Plus, the location was convenient with a good eatery nearby. Really enjoyable stay!

The twin room offers a spacious layout with a comfortable bed, good for a solo traveler. The location is conveniently close to the center, making it easy to explore on foot.
Filling the kettle in the room is a bit of a hassle since it doesn't fit easily under the bathroom tap. it only fills one-third full at a time. If I'm being picky, having some herbal tea options would have been a nice addition.
